‘Captain America: Civil War’ Begins Shooting In Atlanta
Well, that didn’t take long. Less than a week after Marvel Studios’ superhero showdown “Avengers: Age of Ultron” hit U.S. theaters, principal photography has begun on “Captain America: Civil War.”
Corporate parent Disney announced Thursday that the sequel to “Captain America: The Winter Soldier” is shooting in Atlanta, with brothers Anthony and Joe Russo once again directing. (Joss Whedon helmed “Ultron.”)
Set for release May 6, 2016, “Civil War” also will film scenes in Germany, Puerto Rico and Iceland.
