Indiana Jones Sequel Is Happening Via Disney, Says Producer Kathleen Kennedy
Indiana Jones is making a comeback — but not for a long, long time! Producer Kathleen Kennedy confirmed the news that Disney still has every intention to bring the adventure thriller back to the big screen during an interview with Vanity Fair.
“[It] will one day be made inside this company,” she said on Tuesday, May 5. “When it will happen, I’m not quite sure. We haven’t started working on a script yet, but we are talking about it.”
Kennedy’s statement may only be a glimmer of hope for fans, but it’s more satisfying than what Disney chairman Alan Horn said last year. “We haven’t done anything,” he told the mag at the time. “We don’t have a story. We need a story.”
