Julia Cobb’s smile is as indelible as her spirit, and in her memory, her family is hoping to honor her short life with an epic journey they say pales in comparison to the challenge HOUSTON (KTRK) — Raising awareness of childhood cancer, a Houston family is about to embark on a cross-country walk in memory of their eight-year-old daughter. The Cobb family will walk from Disney Land in California all the way to Disney World in Florida. It’s a journey of about 4,000 miles. Announcing the New Disney Castaway Cay Challenge
Once again Disney is teaming up with RunDisney for another Castaway Cay Challenge. This time, they’re calling all princesses! Runners who complete the Castaway Cay 5K during the February 23-27 Disney Dream voyage, in addition to one 5K event or longer during the 2015 Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend, will earn the Castaway Cay Challenge finisher medal. Marvel has spent the week stunning fans with major character transformations, and now comes news that Tony Stark will be re-imagined as well, in the upcoming series Superior Iron Man. Mashable reports that Tony Stark will be relocating to San Francisco for Superior Iron Man, as the genius inventor spreads an app based on his Extremis technology, which played a major role in Iron Man 3. Marvel Announces New Captain America on ‘The Colbert Report’
Sam Wilson, formerly the Falcon, will take on the cowl and shield in a new series launching in November, CCO Joe Quesada tells Stephen Colbert. A day after it was revealed that Marvel Entertainment would be replacing the comic book incarnation of Thor with a new, female version, the publisher followed through on an earlier tease by announcing that Sam Wilson, formerly the superhero known as the Falcon, would be taking over the role of Captain America this October.
