World of Disney Expands in Disney Springs Marketplace at Walt Disney World Resort

World of Disney in Disney Springs Marketplace at Walt Disney World Resort has recently transformed into a larger, more spacious shopping experience for guests.

The World of Disney expansion includes an addition of 6,000 sq. ft of retail selling space, a new entrance to the location, and interior changes to help guests better navigate this incredible shopping destination. The location is now considered the largest merchandise shop at Walt Disney World Resort.

There is a gorgeous stained glass window found in the new space. Also enhanced directional signs throughout the entire shop which made locating products easier.

One of the new details was the artwork added to the ceiling including Elliot the dragon from Disney’s “Pete’s Dragon”; WALL-E and Eve from Disney•Pixar’s “Wall-E”; and Hiro and Baymax from Disney’s “Big Hero 6.”

Guests can now complete purchases at one of several, more efficient, centralized register locations. There was also a new information desk for guests who may have questions about Disney products.

Finally, cast members have new, re-designed costumes as shown below by Leo Cal and Cencen Wang.
