Disney Adds ‘Hocus Pocus’ Stage Show To Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party
Halloween at Walt Disney World is about to get a little more villainous. Magic Kingdom will introduce new entertainment to its Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, Disney Parks Blogs announced on May 27. The new stage show will feature characters from Disney’s 1993 film “Hocus Pocus” as well as other Disney Villains.
The “Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular” will take place at the Castle Forecourt Stage during Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party (MNSSHP). The stage show stars the film’s Sanderson Sisters –Winifred, Mary and Sarah – who will use their magical powers to throw a Halloween party in keeping with MNSSHP’s family-friendly spirit.
During the stage show, the three witches will attempt to concoct their Hocus Party Potion in “the best, evil Halloween party this side of the graveyard,” casting a most memorable Halloween spell over everyone at the Magic Kingdom party. The stage show will include appearances by other Disney Villains, including Dr. Facilier, Oogie Boogie and Maleficent, as well as dancers, projections and special effects.
