Ride Along on Journey Into Imagination

Journey into Imagination Entrance at Disney's Epcot

Whether you love it not, Journey Into Imagination (with Figment) at Disney’s Epcot can usually bring some strong emotions.  For the purists, they long for the days of the original Figment and DreamFinder. For others, they long for previous incarnations of this whimsical attraction.  And for many, like myself, you take the good and the bad and just enjoy the time you spend with the beloved Figment.

Journey Into Imagination with Figment is still a great attraction with lots of Flubber, Honey I Shrunk/Blew Up the Kids, and Absent-Minded Professor references in the que as well as several props from the films.  When you ride Journey Into Imagination, you turn into a kid and enjoy letting your imagination spark with Figment!

Plus this attraction is housed inside one of the most iconic buildings on Epcot’s property.  So, please sit back and enjoy your ride along with Figment on Journey Into Imagination!

Hey guys, Question…Did you happen to catch the reference to an old Disney film that starred a very young Kurt Russell? Its one of my favorite parts of the ride, I look for it EVERY time! I also LOVE the nod to Dreamfinder, So glad he became the dean!

Are you referring to the Computer Wore Tennis shoes?? It was in the Destination D Great Scavenger hunt…we had to figure out what country’s flag was the predominant color of the shoes..the shoes are red…so the answer was china…

Thank you for for the presentation of the new Figment on Journey Into Imagination ride. I don’t like the new ride. In my opinion Disney park ruined the ride. The ride is lame and very Dumb. I love figment. In fact I have a very huge collection of figment memorabilia. I have been a Disney annual park pass holder since 1985 and I go to Epcot every month. I stopped riding “Journey Into Imagination”, when Disney parks changed the ride completely and ruined it.
