Ship Used In The ‘Pirates Of The Caribbean’ Movies Sinks

She was the supporting role in many of Johnny Depp’s scenes where he played eccentric pirate Jack Sparrow.
But the main star of Pirates of Caribbean was 66-year-old pirate ship The Brig Unicorn, who sunk in a freak accident off the coast of St Vincent and the Grenadines on Saturday.
The magical ship was sailing on her way to be repaired from St Lucia when she encountered difficulties and sank, no one was hurt.

On board at the time there was nine crew members and one captain, who were believed to have been rescued by the St Vincent Coast Guard shortly after the incident.
The Brig Unicorn played The Henrietta in The Curse Of The Black Pearl, and The Terrasaw in Dead Man’s Chest and At World’s End.
The mighty ship was also used as a slave ship in in the 1977 Golden Globe winning American TV series Roots, but was most recently been used as a bar and restaurant in the Rodney Bay Marina in St Lucia.
