Disney XD Renews Ultimate Spider-Man And Marvel’s Avengers Animated Series
Fans of both Marvel’s Avengers and Ultimate Spider-Man on Disney XD have something to celebrate about today. According to TVInsider, both shows have been renewed and are set to have new seasons premiere in 2016. There is one big difference in next year’s shows though. They’re both getting new titles, which isn’t anything new to Ultimate Spider-Man, which has had a couple title changes already. With the success of Avengers: Age of Ultron, Avengers Assemble is now becoming “Avengers: Ultron Revolution,” while Spider-Man gets the new title of “Ultimate Spider-Man Vs. Phineas And Ferb To End Run In June, Creators Land New Disney XD Show
The finale of Disney’s beloved Phineas and Ferb is on the horizon as production for the animated series has officially wrapped. But fans have something to celebrate ahead of that June 12 farewell as creators Dan Povenmire and Jeff “Swampy” Marsh are getting a new show called Mikey Murphy’s Law, the company announced Thursday. The story will follow the fictional great-great-great-great-grandson of the Murphy’s Law namesake. Povenmire and Marsh are set to executive produce, and will be joined by Phineas and Ferb colleagues Robert F. Marvel Television and Disney XD Announce New Original Animated-Television Series “Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy”
Production has begun on “Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy,” an upcoming animated-television series for Disney XD, featuring the hugely popular characters introduced in the record-breaking Marvel Studios film of the same name. The announcement was made today by Jeph Loeb, Marvel’s Head of Television, at New York Comic-Con. Produced by Marvel Television, the series stars Peter Quill as Star-Lord, the brash adventurer who, to save the universe from its greatest threats, joins forces with a quartet of disparate misfits – fan-favorite Rocket Raccoon, a tree-like humanoid named Groot, the enigmatic, expert fighter Gamora and the rough-edged warrior Drax the Destroyer.
