Colortopia Presented By Glidden Opens At Epcot

Today Disney announced that Colortopia presented by Glidden is officially open at Innoventions East in Epcot featuring three immersive zones that truly showing the power of color.

The first experience takes place in the “Power of Color Theater.” This specially designed area uses vibrant hues along with harmonious sounds and narration to explore the psychology of color. For example, red can make guests feel several emotions at once like anger or love.

The second zone called the “The Color Lab” features two interactive stations. The first, Color Mix ‘n Match, allowing guests to mix red, green and blue to create new colors. The second station, Spinning Spectrums, uses revolving multi-colored disks to test color perception. As the disks spun faster, guests guess the actual color of the disks. While it was a gray area on whether or not you are correct, you have fun guessing.

Finally the third zone, “Color Our World,” which features color shadows and a magic paintbrush. With the magic paintbrush, you are able to choose the color palette to create a spectacular scene on digital screen. Depending on the color, the scene and storyline changed.

The fun didn’t stop there. While walking around World Showcase guests are able to play with the expansive color palettes with the Colortopia mobile app. You collect colors from each pavilion and added them to your personal color palette to take home.
