Disney XD Signs Lab Rats For A Fourth Season
BURBANK: Disney XD has commissioned a fourth season of the live-action comedy Lab Rats from It’s a Laugh Productions.
Billy Unger, Spencer Boldman, Kelli Berglund and Tyrel Jackson Williams lead the cast of Lab Rats. The comedic adventure series’ new run will include a story arc relocating the main characters on a secret, high-tech island location. Production on the new season will begin in Los Angeles this October for a 2015 broadcast. Series creators Chris Peterson and Bryan Moore exec produce, along with Hayes Jackson.
“Chris and Bryan’s vision for Lab Rats has taken its current season to new creative heights with the perfect combination of humor, superhero mythology and action adventure,” said Adam Bonnett, the executive VP of original programming for Disney Channels Worldwide. “Their big idea for growing the world and amping up the stakes for Disney XDs number one series has created great excitement for the ensuing season.”
