Disney’s Maker Enters Marvel Universe
NEW YORK—Almost one year after its $1 billion acquisition, Maker Studios is happy to be a part of the Disney family.
That’s what executives from the massive multi-channel network emphasized at its presentation to advertisers Tuesday. Maker unveiled a slate of 15 new series plus collaborations with divisions across Disney, including Marvel, ESPN and ABC’s Lincoln Square Productions.
“Being part of the Walt Disney Company, the world’s largest media organization, has given us access to some of the most beloved brands and franchises in the universe,” said Ynon Kreiz, president of Maker Studios.
