Morimoto May Not Be The Only Celebrity Chef Coming To Disney Springs
Chef Masaharu Morimoto may not be the only celebrity chef cooking up a new concept for Disney Springs, as rumor has it that the dining and entertainment district is courting another award-winning chef to add to its line-up.
Sources told Orlando Food Blogger Scott Joseph that Chicago-area Chef Rick Bayless is in negotiations to bring a new restaurant brand to the revamped Downtown Disney.
Bayless specializes in Mexican cuisine and is known for his the Frontera Grill and Topolobampo restaurants. He also was a guest judge on Bravo’s Top Chef and later became a contestant on Bravo’s Top Chef Masters, where he won the title in 2009.
