Chris Pine in talks to lead Disney’s coast guard drama ‘Finest Hours’ with ‘Million Dollar Arm’ director
Chris Pine is looking to reignite his career outside Star Trek and a new project with Disney could do the trick. He’s reportedly in talks to star in The Finest Hours, a period coast guard drama that could team him up with the director of Million Dollar Arm. Pine is very close to signing on. The Wrap reports that he has been in talks with the studio for some time, possibly even months. The plot centers on two oil tankers that get stuck in a New England storm and based on the non-fiction book by Casey Sherman and Michael J. Tougias.
