‘Frozen’ Slips In Two More Grammy Wins
Animated blockbuster Frozen is just the gift that keeps giving for Disney. Sixteen months after the film was released in late 2013, it has picked up two more Grammys to add to the pile of statuettes it’s accumulated. The latest honors came today during the non-televised part of the Grammy awards. One of the latest Grammys is for the Oscar-winning song Let It Go, written by Robert Lopez and Kristen Anderson-Lopez, as best song written for visual media. 2015 Radio Disney Music Awards Set For Saturday, April 25 At Nokia Theatre L.A. Live
The 2015 Radio Disney Music Awards (RDMA), music’s biggest event for families, is set for SATURDAY, APRIL 25 at Nokia Theatre L.A. LIVE in Los Angeles. Now in its third year, the show will feature performances by some of the biggest artists in music and the presentation of the uniquely Radio Disney “ARDY” statuettes as voted on by fans globally. A 90-minute televised special and a 30-minute pre-show, including red-carpet arrivals, will be presented Sunday, April 26 on Disney Channel. Highlights will also be available on Radio Disney, the Radio Disney App, the Disney Channel WATCH app and RadioDisney.com.

Walt Disney Parks and Resorts Honored with Prestigious Industry Awards
This week, the Themed Entertainment Associated (TEA) announced the recipients for their 21st annual Thea Awards. These awards seek to acknowledge the outstanding achievements in the themed entertainment industry in addition to the creative talent behind each attraction or experience. Walt Disney Parks and Resorts was honored to receive three awards, including the Thea Classic award for Disneyland’s it’s a small world attraction in Anaheim, California. Incoming TEA president Steve Birket deemed it’s a small world a “timeless classic,” calling the attraction “a metaphor for our increasingly global industry.” Disney Parks also received honors for Bistrot Chez Remy at Walt Disney Studios Park in Paris, France, and for Wilderness Explorers…

In a rousing television debut,Disney Channel Presents the Radio Disney Music Awards—a celebration of music for kids and families—delivered 3.2 million Total Viewers and ranked as the No. 1 primetime TV telecast of April 2014 across all major youth demographics: Kids 2–11 (1.7 million), Kids 6–11 (1.4 million), Kids 6–14 (1.9 million), Tweens 9–14 (1.4 million) and Teens 12–17 (683,000). It was also the No. 1 telecast across all TV for the month in Girls 2–11 (1.1 million), Girls 6–11 (947,000), Girls 6–14 (1.3 million) and Girls 9–14 (877,000). The event is in its second year.
