Trying to emulate his hero, Charles Lindberg and woo Minnie Mouses’ love, Mickey Mouse creates a homemade airplane. Plane Crazy is the first Mickey Mouse cartoon to be produced, but the third to be released. Co-directed by Walt Disney and Ub Iwerks, Iwerks was also the main animator for this short and reportedly only spent six weeks working on it. The sound version contained a soundtrack by Carl W. Stalling. Plane Crazy was distributed by Celebrity Pictures/Buena Vista Pictures and produced by Walt Disney Productions.
