Epcot’s Odyssey Restaurant to Open for Live World Cup Viewing
The Odyssey Restaurant in Epcot will re-open and show FIFA World Cup 2014 games from June 12 to July 13. Inside the Odyssey restaurant there will be multiple televisions broadcasting the games live, along with food, beverages, and merchandise that can be purchased. ‘Trucks on the Town at Downtown Disney West Side’
Get ready to tweet, here’s a brand-new event to share with all your foodie friends: the first-ever food truck bazaar at Downtown Disney, a mini-theme park for food lovers from 5-10 p.m. June 21. Your biggest challenge will be what to order when you get to the window, as Disney will have 14 trucks dishing out sandwiches, empanadas, pupusas, barbecue, gator bites, seafood, tacos, cupcakes and more. Starbucks Opens Disney World Location with Moss Art and Touchscreens
Starbucks has announced the opening of its first company-owned Disney World location and they did not hold back when it came to cramming buzzy design trends into it. The 4,000 square foot “green” space is LEED-certified (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) and to make it extra-clear that Starbucks likes the environment (except when it comes to single-use coffee products), they’ve put lemon grass on the roof and a moss art logo on a “living wall.” Starbucks is also getting in on the touchscreen action, installing a “70-inch digital display panel” that connects Orlando coffee drinkers with customers at the Disneyland Starbucks.
