With Inside Out debuting to rave reviews at the Cannes Film Festival, John Lasseter carried the Disney/Pixar momentum forward with a preview of the studio’s upcoming animated films through 2017. Variety reports that, while Inside Out may be receiving all the current Pixar love, Lasseter reminded the crowd that the studio has another feature coming later this year. ‘Toy Story 4’ Will Not Continue Plot Of ‘Toy Story 3
“Toy Story 4” isn’t out for another two years, but we’ve got our first idea of what it might look like. Speaking to Disney Latino, Pixar president Jim Morris said the new sequel will not really look like a traditional sequel at all. “The third movie was over in a beautiful way and completed a trilogy. John Lasseter Will Direct ‘Toy Story 4’ — BREAKING
The Pixar chief who changed the animation game with his innovative use of computer technology in 1995’s Toy Story will return to the directing chair to make a fourth movie about the adventures of Woody, Buzz, and the gang, Walt Disney CEO Bob Iger has announced..
