Kabam And Marvel Team Up For A Second Super-Powered Mobile Game
Kabam, the leader in the western world for free-to-play games for traditional players, today announced an extended collaboration with Marvel Entertainment to create a second forthcoming free-to-play game based on Super Heroes in the Marvel Universe. The two companies first started working together on Marvel Contest of Champions, a fighting game being released on mobile devices in December 2014. Marvel Contest of Champions had its first-look unveiling at San Diego Comic-Con earlier this year, and its first hands-on demo with fans at the Marvel booth at New York Comic-Con this past October. ‘Star Wars’ is Coming to ‘Disney Infinity’ Next Year
When Disney Interactive first unveiled their new toys-to-life title Disney Infinity it was abundantly clear that they were setting up for the long haul. Like Infinity‘s closest competitor, Skylanders, Disney wasn’t going to settle on just one game, but they are hoping to build a billion dollar brand. Part of that requires including properties that aren’t just Disney but Disney-owned. That’s why this year’s entry, Disney Infinity: Marvel Super Heroes (2.0 Edition), focuses heavily on one of Disney’s more recent and profitable acquisitions. Disney Interactive Shines at E3
At this year’s Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3)—the world’s premier trade show for computer and video game products—Disney Interactive gave fans an in-depth look at their upcoming game slate, including Disney Infinity: Marvel Super Heroes (2.0 Edition) and Disney Fantasia: Music Evolved. Excitement has been building for the Disney Infinity sequel since Disney announced that Marvel characters would be joining the platform in April. At E3, Disney Interactive also announced that a Spider-Man Play Set would be available at launch, featuring playable characters such as Spider-Man, Nick Fury, Iron Fist, Nova and Venom with additional appearances by White Tiger, Black Cat and Luke Cage. Marvel Characters Coming To Disney Infinity Video Game
Fun news! Marvel just made the big announcement that a line of Marvel characters will be coming for the Disney Infinity video game! Fans will now be able to pick up Marvel characters to use in their game play. So far we know that Captain America will be one of the characters, but the rest of the line won’t be announced until a press event on April 30, 2014.
