‘Disney on Ice Presents Frozen’ Debuts In Orlando
Disney on Ice show designers have created magical worlds from the Little Mermaid’s underwater home to the African savannas of “The Lion King.”
But Steve Bass, working on his first ice show, hit the scenic jackpot: The veteran designer is creating the look for “Disney on Ice presents Frozen.” The latest skating extravaganza from Feld Entertainment is based on last year’s animated hit full of snow and ice.
“It was the best possible situation for my first time out,” Bass says with a chuckle.
The show will have its world premiere at Orlando’s Amway Center on Thursday, Sept. 4, before heading out on a tour that crisscrosses North America.
