John Lasseter Previews Toy Story 4, Finding Dory, And More
With Inside Out debuting to rave reviews at the Cannes Film Festival, John Lasseter carried the Disney/Pixar momentum forward with a preview of the studio’s upcoming animated films through 2017. Variety reports that, while Inside Out may be receiving all the current Pixar love, Lasseter reminded the crowd that the studio has another feature coming later this year. With The Good Dinosaur, 2015 will be the first time Pixar has two films in one year. ‘Finding Dory’ Plot And Setting Revealed By Pixar President
The highly anticipated “Finding Nemo” sequel, “Finding Dory,” will largely focus on … well, Dory. In their humble abode, or reef, Marlin, Nemo, and Dory (voiced by Ellen DeGeneres, again) live together in the film set about six months after its predecessor, Pixar President Jim Morris said recently at the Comic-Con Experience in Brazil, Comic Book Movie reports via Omelete. “The movie will be mostly set at the California Marine Biology Institute, a huge complex of sea life rehabilitation and aquarium, where Dory was born and raised,” he said.
