Star Wars: Episode VII Cast Announced
Actors John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac, Andy Serkis, Domhnall Gleeson, and Max von Sydow will join the original stars of the saga, Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill, Anthony Daniels, Peter Mayhew, and Kenny Baker in the new film. Disney Publishing, Del Rey Doing New Star Wars Novels
Disney Publishing Worldwide and Del Rey Books are teaming up to do a new line of Sta Wars adult fiction novels. The publishers will be working directly with brand creator, Lucasfilm.There are, according to Del Rey parent, Random House, over 75 million Star Wars books in print–the first tie-in novel, Star Wars: A New Hope, was released by Del Rey in 1976–and the titles, RH added, “consistently rank on theNew York Times bestseller lists.” Del Rey licenses the Star War titles from Disney Pubnlishing, parent company of Lucasfilm. Disney XD’s MAX STEEL Comes To Comics In New OGN Series
Mattel is looking to replicate the success of Ben 10 with their new series Max Steel, and its early popularity has prompted VIZ to greenlight an all-ages graphic novel series which recently hit shelves. The latest volume, Max Steel: Haywire, pits the cybernetic superhero duo of Max and Steel against his old enemies the Elementors and a new threat which writer Tom Pinchuk calls a “21st century digital plague.” Pinchuk’s name might be familiar to indie comics readers for his work on Hybrid Bastards and Unimaginable, but for the past few years he’s been spending his time working in animation. New Magic Kingdom Cell Phone Charging Lockers
A new service offering free unattended smartphone charging is available at the Magic Kingdom. With families having an increasing dependence on cell phones, not just to say in contact with each other, but to use Disney’s new MyMagic+ reservation system and to make and change Fastpass+ plans via the My Disney Experience app, there has been an increased demand for places to charge those mobile devices. Disney first added locations with banks of plugs and USB ports near the Tangled restrooms, the yellow Fastpass tent in Storybook Circus, and in the back of the Space Mountain store near the arcade.
