Disney’s MALEFICENT available on DVD/Blu-ray November 4th
Disney’s most iconic villain “MALEFICENT” comes to life for all to own, November 4, 2014. Starring Academy Award-winning actress Angelina Jolie (Best Supporting Actress, “Girl, Interrupted,” 2000) as Maleficent, this wickedly fun twist on the classic “Sleeping Beauty” will be made available on Disney Blu-ray Combo Pack, Digital HD, Disney Movies Anywhere, DVD and On-Demand platforms.

Q: What attracted you to the role? A: I loved Maleficent when I was a little girl; she was my favorite Disney character. I was afraid of her and I loved her. MAC releases a New Maleficent Inspired Makeup
MAC is coming out with a Maleficent makeup line straight from the villain’s toolbox, including the blood-red lipstick worn by Jolie and called “True Love’s Kiss.” And the Disney flick isn’t the only movie inspiring beauty products. Sephora launched three limited-edition sets inspired by the Shailene Woodley blockbuster “Divergent,” and CoverGirl celebrated the second “Hunger Games” movie with a color-packed series of palettes and polishes. “Maleficent was so magical and scary, yet she had a beauty about her,” says MAC makeup artist Toni G., who created Jolie’s look for the movie and helped transition the film’s makeup into the retail line. Kristin Chenoweth to play Maleficent
Former “Wicked” witch Kristin Chenoweth has signed on to play “Sleeping Beauty” baddie Maleficent in Disney’s upcoming original movie “Descendants,” which follows the teenage children of Disney’s iconic heroes and villains (mainly the villains). The Tony and Emmy winner will butt heads with her onscreen daughter Mal, played by “Liv and Maddie” star Dove Cameron.
