Tim Burton’s Frankenweenie Has a New Trailer
Tim Burton (“Alice in Wonderland,” The Nightmare Before Christmas”) brings his new feature-length ‘stop-motion’ animation film “Frankenweenie,” to theaters this Fall. After unexpectedly losing his beloved dog Sparky, young Victor harnesses the power of science to bring his best friend back to life. He tries to hide his home-sewn creation, but when Sparky gets out, Victor’s fellow students, teachers and the entire town all learn that getting a new “leash on life” can be monstrous. I’m really looking forward to this movie. I’m a huge fan of Burton’s animation team and the story touches on some real deep emotions. Frankenweenie opens on October 4th 2012.

Monsters University Trailer Scares Up Some More Fun from Pixar
One of the best parts of the Brave press screening was the trailer for Disney/Pixar’s upcoming film, Monsters University, the prequel to Pixar’s smash hit Monsters Inc. I loved the original and this get’s me even more excited for the upcoming movie. Plus, who doesn’t love what they did to Mike… Classic!! Monsters University hits theaters June 21, 2013. Billy Crystal (Mike), John Goodman (Sully) and Steve Buscemi (Randall) are back for more fun, and Dan Scanlon directs.

This is not a Disney Animation film; it’s from the legendary Studio Ghibli (“Spirited Away,” “Ponyo”) and is based on Mary Norton’s acclaimed children’s book series “The Borrowers.” When the movie begins we are introduced to 12-year-old Shawn (voice of David Henrie), a human boy who comes to stay in his grandmother’s home and discovers Arrietty (AIR-ee-ett-ee), a tiny, but tenacious 14-year-old, who lives with her parents (voices of Will…
