25 Days of Disney Christmas Day 14 – Walt Disney and Toys for Tots
In 1948, the Toys For Tots was launched as a national campaign. Campaign director William Hendricks, who was the PR Director for Warner Brothers Studio at the time, enlisted Disney Studios to design the familiar red toy train logo seen here. This holiday season, please donate toys or funds to the campaign to bring toys to needy children. You can find Toys For Tots on the web at http://www.toysfortots.org/.
