Train Sends Special Wedding Message to Inspiring Couple Hit by Tragedy

An Oregon couple whose romance against all odds inspired a social media campaign that went viral and raised nearly $28,000 tied the knot Thursday in a dream wedding at Disneyland in California.

The wedding day of Kelcie Yeoman and Larry Ragsdale — high school sweethearts whose engagement plans were derailed when Ragsdale was hit head-on by a drunk driver –- was punctuated by a special message from their favorite band, Train.

“Your story is so inspiring that not only do we want to play this music for you but we wanted to invite you as our guests on our next cruise,” Train frontman Pat Monahan told the shocked couple in a taped message introduced by Yeoman’s maid of honor, her sister, McKenzie, at the wedding reception.
