Disney Confirms Star Wars Episode 8 And 9 Release Date Plans
Disney have confirmed when they plan to put the two Star Wars sequels out. Star Wars Episode 8 and Episode 9 have officially been greenlit and will be with us in within the next four years. Episode VIII is scheduled for release in 2017 followed by Episode IX in 2019. Disney’s CEO Bob Iger confirmed the plans in a Disney shareholder report seen by Star Wars Underworld. He also promised Star Wars fans that Episode 7 will be ‘worth the wait’. Walt Disney World Refurbishment Update: Modified Monorail Routes On Select Dates In February And March
The Walt Disney World Resort Monorail System will undergo refurbishment that will impact the Resort and Express monorail beams on select days in February and March. The modified routes will be in effect on Feb. 3-5, Feb. 9-12, Feb. 23-26 and March 2-5, 2015 from 11 a.m. – 7 p.m. During these times, Monorails on the Resort beam will travel between Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa and Magic Kingdom Park. Monorails on the Express beam will now make an additional stop at Disney’s Contemporary Resort as they travel between Magic Kingdom Park and the Transportation and Ticket Center. The Walt Disney Company Announces Second Startup Accelerator Program
The Walt Disney Company (NYSE: DIS) announced that it is accepting applications for its second Disney Accelerator program powered by Techstars. Disney Accelerator will select a class of 10 startup companies for a three-month mentorship and investment program beginning July 6, 2015 and concluding with a Demo Day on October 6, 2015. The program is open to technology-based startups with a vision for making an impact on the world of media and entertainment.
