Disney To Develop Original Comedy Projects Through Storytellers Initiative
Disney wants to find new talent for future programming on its cable networks. Through the newly created Disney Channel Storytellers, the Disney family of networks (including Disney Channel and Disney XD) aims to “foster creative ideas and develop the next generation of series creators and screenwriters” for programs targeting kids, tweens and families. The 20-week program is open to professional writers, who will be salaried during its duration. Writers participating in the program will be assisted by It’s a Laugh Productions, a regular supplier of original programming for Disney networks, and will also be given WGA membership eligibility credits. Here’s A Look At Iron Man’s New Gear In Avengers: Age Of Ultron
We’ve already caught glimpses of several versions of Iron Man’s armor in Avengers: Age Of Ultron, but a new, hyper-detailed toy figure created by Hot Toys offers our best look yet at the latest iteration of wearable tech that Tony Stark will don in the team’s upcoming adventure. Judging by the photos of the Mark XLIII armor posted to Facebook by Hot Toys, the standard armor Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) doesn’t appear to be that much different structurally from the armor he wore in Iron Man 3 (officially known as “Mark XLII,” of course) though the color scheme has been reversed for the new suit. This holiday season, Disney will put a “Frozen” twist on its 31st annual Christmas Day telecast, appropriately renamed the “Disney Parks Frozen Christmas Celebration” airing Dec. 25, 2014 on ABC-TV. Robin Roberts of ABC’s “Good Morning America” will host the reimagined television special inspired by the blockbuster hit’s message of uniting family and loved ones. Roberts will lead the telecast from Walt Disney World Resort in Florida with support from GMA Contributor and ESPN and SEC Network analyst Tim Tebow. Marvel Reveals Plot Details For Ant-Man Movie
Marvel’s upcoming Ant-Man wrapped shooting last week, and now the studio has finally released the official plot details for the film. The film will feature Paul Rudd as Scott Lang, the diminutive hero of the piece who keeps peak human strength despite shrinking down to microscopic sizes and can command hordes of insects.
