Ship Used In The ‘Pirates Of The Caribbean’ Movies Sinks
She was the supporting role in many of Johnny Depp’s scenes where he played eccentric pirate Jack Sparrow. But the main star of Pirates of Caribbean was 66-year-old pirate ship The Brig Unicorn, who sunk in a freak accident off the coast of St Vincent and the Grenadines on Saturday. The magical ship was sailing on her way to be repaired from St Lucia when she encountered difficulties and sank, no one was hurt. Brenton Thwaites To Co-Star With Johnny Depp In ‘Pirates Of Caribbean 5′
After reading actors last week for the highly coveted role, Disney and Johnny Depp look to have found Jack Sparrow’s new mate. Brenton Thwaites is in final negotiations to co-star opposite Depp in “Pirates of the Caribbean 5.” Thwaites will play a British soldier in the pic. Javier Bardem is also talks to play the villain with Joachim Ronning and Espen Sandberg, who got their sea legs with “Kon Tiki,” directing. Jerry Bruckheimer is producing.
