Disney Publishing Worldwide Brings the Magic of ‘Frozen’ to Mobile Devices
Elsa isn’t the only person singing these days. Lyle Underkoffler, vice president, Digital Media, Disney Publishing Worldwide (DPW), is singing the praises of DPW’s recent storybook app based on Walt Disney Animation Studios’ blockbuster Frozen. “We’ve experienced wonderful success with Frozen,” he says. “It’s been quite an amazing story.” Amazing, indeed! Starbucks Opens Disney World Location with Moss Art and Touchscreens
Starbucks has announced the opening of its first company-owned Disney World location and they did not hold back when it came to cramming buzzy design trends into it. The 4,000 square foot “green” space is LEED-certified (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) and to make it extra-clear that Starbucks likes the environment (except when it comes to single-use coffee products), they’ve put lemon grass on the roof and a moss art logo on a “living wall.” Starbucks is also getting in on the touchscreen action, installing a “70-inch digital display panel” that connects Orlando coffee drinkers with customers at the Disneyland Starbucks.
