Like so many Star Wars cosplay fans before it, Furby is dressing up like everyone’s favorite wookiee. Hasbro brought its next-generation Furby to Mashable for a visit, and he’s an adorable, furry creature that speaks wookiee just like Chewbacca and even hums the Star Wars theme song. Disney’s ‘Frozen’ Beats Barbie As Top Toy For Girls, Survey Says
Sorry, Barbie. You’ve had a long reign as the top toy for girls. But you’ll have to ‘Let it Go.’ Parents reported that 20% planned to buy Disney’s ‘Frozen’ goodies for girls this year, compared to 16.8% choosing to purchase Barbies, in the National Retail Federation’s latest holiday top toys survey. This is the first time in the survey’s 11-year-history that Barbie was beaten, according to NRF. Forty-two percent of shoppers plan to buy toys as gifts for the holiday, the consumer survey points out. Whereas, 61% plan to buy clothes or clothing accessories.
